Storyline

Life changes for Nandita when she receives a series of MMS with romantic messages that expose her husband Ananya’s extra-marital affair with Nina.
As the mystery thickens, Nandita realises that the MMS can actually be aimed at her.

The story is so predictable, like you can predict the body of this review by reading the headline. It was embarrasing to see that HoiChoi is trying to bring melodramatic serials with simple, monotonous either black or white shaded characters tagging as new-age web series. How can characters be so straignt forward – either too eveil or too good? Why the male character named Anonyo is so irritating with his acting and dialogue throwing? Why all the screenplay is so ordinary that even the word ordinary feels special after watching the series? In Bengali, there is a word “sosta”. I am not talking about the budget. I am critisizing the mentality, the attempt and the audacity to befool the audiance.

রহস্য, প্রেম, পরকীয়ার বুনোটে গল্প শোনাবে ‘হ্যালো’

স্বামী পরকিয়ায় আসক্ত, স্ত্রীর ফোনে কেউ ক্রমাগত মেসেজ করতে থাকে। বোঝা যায় না সে কে, সব মিলিয়ে পরপর এপিসোড দেখে রুদ্ধশ্বাস হয়ে গিয়েছিল দর্শক।

নন্দিতা আর অনন্যর মধ্যবিত্ত সংসারের মাঝে একদিন হুট করে এসে পড়েছিল নীনা।
বিবাহিত দুই সন্তানের বাবা অনন্যও তার সঙ্গে প্রেমে উদ্দাম যৌনতায় ভেসে গিয়েছিল।
এ নিয়ে সংসারে অশান্তি স্ত্রী নন্দিতার সন্দেহের মাঝেই বাড়িতে সম্পন্ন হয়েছিল দুর্গাপুজোও।
প্রেম, পুজো, যৌনতা, পরিবার সব রকম উপাদান নিয়েই ওয়েব সিরিজ ‘হ্যালো সিজন ওয়ান’ ঘুম কেড়ে নিয়েছিল সকলের।
স্বামী পরকিয়ায় আসক্ত, স্ত্রীর ফোনে কেউ ক্রমাগত মেসেজ করতে থাকে।
বোঝা যায় না সে কে, সব মিলিয়ে পরপর এপিসোড দেখে রুদ্ধশ্বাস হয়ে গিয়েছিল দর্শক।
তবে গল্পের আসল মোচড়টা তখনও বাকি।
সেই মোচড়টা পাওয়া গিয়েছিল শেষ এপিসোডে, যখন জানা গিয়েছিল অনন্যর সঙ্গে পরকিয়ায় লিপ্ত নীনা আসলে অনন্য নয় বরং তার স্ত্রী নন্দিতাকে ভালোবাসে।
সমকামী প্রেমের সেই অ্যাঙ্গেল গোটা গল্পের প্লটটাকেই এক ভিন্ন মাত্রা দিয়েছিল সেদিন।
কিন্তু তারপরে? কী হল নন্দিতার, অনন্য আর নীনার জীবনে?

অনন্য কী পারলো নীনার এই দ্বিচারিতাকে ক্ষমা করতে, নন্দিতা কি সব জানার পরেও নিজের সংসারে ফিরে যেতে পারবে কোনও দিন? আর নীনা, যে ছোটবেলার ভালোবাসার জন্য এতদূর পর্যন্ত গেল সে এত সহজে সব ভুলে যাবে?
